Just for your knowledge, I run Gamer Printshop where I specialize in the printing of large format maps for use by gamers. I have been approached in the past to print posters for fantasy artists. So you know how it works. I charge $2.99 per square foot for printing, thus an 18" x 24" print is $8.97, plus optional lamination and shipping. An artist could add any amount above that $8.97 as a final sale price offered on my Ecommerce site. Its an option for you, in case you ever want to promote the printing of your art, Jan.

Thanks, Michael, I'll check it out! There has been some minor interest in prints lately so I might as well have a way to make them. Smiley

Another submission for Jon Schindehette's ArtOrder Concept Tuesday sketch challenge.

This week we were supposed to choose a silhouette painted by someone else for the previous challenge and render it out.
I didn't have much time to do it and I could spend more time refining it, so I simply had to submit it like this.

Its supposed to be the cover for The Gift, the first 3 part mini-campaign arc, at the moment scheduled out at the end of this month. Still busy working on it.

Thanks guys!

This is the first of three sword designs for the portfolio.
I've tried achieving a sense of "alignment" or "aura" just by shapes and materials. It's very easy to slap a skull on a sword and think that makes it look evil. Or spikes. I hate spikes.

Anyway, this one is supposed to be "good".

And yeah, the blade could be longer, but I chose not to make it longer. It's a fantasy sword and it would work as a sword. Yes, a historical longsword would have a longer blade, but this isn't a longsword. Wink

Another one of the sword designs for the portfolio.
This time it's supposed to be a "neutral" sword.

This time the proportions are a bit more conventional. The blade is still pretty heavy though Wink
The ornaments are cast bronze and are inlaid in the blade. Small pieces of red garnet were inset into that bronze. (in a very germanic fashion)
The handguard has bits of copper wire beaten into the metal to make these decorative strips.
The handle is made of hard wood and carved to look slightly anthropomorphic.
And I'm not sure if it reads that way, but the bulb of the pommel is hollow.

I can't quite see all of the images (some of the links and uploads seem to not be so "work friendly" and just give me big white panels or tiny white dots)... but I wandered over to your Street of Eyes page and I really do love the sketches.

The dwarf is good.  And I love the Gondor & Rohan theme art.

If you feel like being inspired I have a Campaign Setting I'm working on (check the Classifieds for links)... plus some basic artwork-kind of stuff.  It's more functional and I only get to show of my noob-ish use of GIMP with it but yeah.  I'd love to see what other people think the things I have described actually look like, but I also know that my Un-L33t drawing skills won't ever do them any real justice.

My images are linked from my DeviantArt gallery. Maybe your filter (if you have one) doesn't like the word "deviant" Cheesy.
